Story Hour/September 2

This week at Story Hour, Claire is reading Turtle Splash! by well-known local author Cathryn Falwell.

For a fun craft, each child will get a pristine paper plate. Well, it will have some legs, a head, and a tail glued to the edge, but the rest of the plate, aka the turtle’s shell, will need some decorating. The children will glue on bits of brightly colored tissue and construction paper, and we’ll have some beautiful turtles at the library. Googly eyes and a smile will show how happy they are to be there!
