Services
Books, etc.
We are primarily a fiction library for adults, young adults, and children. We also have a small non-fiction collection and a selection of DVDs and audiobooks. You can browse our online catalog here. If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can order it for you through the Interlibrary Loan Service.
We also offer a cozy and welcoming space to browse, read, visit, or just relax. We invite you to come in and see for yourself.
Getting a library card is easy and free, even if you don’t live in Gorham or Standish. Come on in, fill out a short form, and we’ll give you a North Gorham Public Library card.
Children’s Corner and Story Hour
We have a welcoming dedicated space for our youngest visitors. Spread out on the rug and read, play with the toys, or create a coloring masterpiece at the table. We love introducing children to the library and we have a wonderful collection of books for children of all ages.
Every Wednesday from 11:30 to 12:30 former teacher Paula Boyce reads a story and introduces the children to a fun and creative activity and a little music and movement. Check out What’s Happening, the Events Calendar, or our Facebook page for weekly updates.
