Nettie Gentempo (aka Nettie Loops) is a professional hula hoop artist, instructor, dancer, and choreographer. She has performed on various stages, including the Blue Ocean Music Hall in Salisbury, MA, the Portland House of Music, and the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston. She is also the co-founder and artistic director of the Nevaeh Dance Circus.

Nettie will perform outside the library on Wednesday, July 17 from noon to 1. (We are counting on good weather!)  She’ll also give us some hula hoop lessons. You know you want to learn the secret to keeping it from slipping down your legs!  

Nettie was our guest last summer, too, and inspired people of all ages to try out the hoops, including our Library Director’s granddaughter! We hope you’ll join us this summer. Mark the date! Wednesday, July 17 from noon to 1.
