For Story Hour this week, Paula will read Pond Babies, which was written and illustrated by Gorham resident Cathryn Falwell. Wednesday, May 28, from 10:30 to 11:30.
The Monday Morning Book Club is reading How to Age Disgracefully by Grace Pooley for its next meeting. The meeting is in the library on Monday, June 2, from 11 am to noon. Meetings are usually on the 4th Monday of the month, but because of Memorial Day, it is a week later this time.
At Story Hour this week, Paula will read Little Beaver and the Echo, a sweet book about friendship by Maine author Amy MacDonald. This Wednesday, May 21, from 10:30 to 11:30.

For this week’s Story Hour, Paula will read Pinkalicious, a book about cherry blossoms. Afterward, the children will glue pieces of tissue paper onto a little twig to make their own three-dimensional cherry blossom. Wednesday, May 14th, from 10:30 to 11:30.
Our new After Work Book Club will hold its first meeting in the library on Wednesday, May 8, from 5 pm to 6 pm. The group is reading Razorblade Tears by S. A. Cosby. We have copies at the library if you need one, but you are welcome to join even if you have not read the book. You will need a library card to become a member, but we can do that at no charge when you arrive (even if you are not a Gorham resident).
At Story Hour this week, Paula will read The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister. After that, they’ll make their own beautiful, shiny-scaled fish. Story Hour is from 10:30 to 11:30 on Wednesday, April 30, in the library.
