Story Hour/March 23

This week at Story Hour, the children will make beautiful butterflies. They will choose what color paper they want for the wings and what color popsicle stick they want for the body. They’ll decorate the wings with pom-poms, cut out shapes/patterns, fill in with crayons and stickers, and add pipe-cleaner antennas.  To inspire them, Claire will read The Crunching Munching Caterpillar, written by Sheridan Cain and illustrated by Jack Tickle. It’s a story about a caterpillar who longs to fly like his friends, Bumblebee, Sparrow, and Butterfly. Story Hour at the North Gorham Public Library is this Wednesday, March 25, from 10:30 to 11:30.
