The Monday Morning Book Club is reading How to Age Disgracefully by Grace Pooley for its next meeting.

“When Lydia takes a job running the Senior Citizens’ Social Club three afternoons a week, she assumes she’ll be spending her time drinking tea and playing gentle games of cards. The members of the Social Club, however, are not at all what Lydia was expecting.”

If you’d like to participate, all you need is a library card, which can be provided on the spot at no charge, even if you are not a Gorham resident.

The next meeting is in the library on Monday, June 2, from 11 am to noon. Meetings are usually on the 4th Monday of the month, but because of Memorial Day, it is a week later this time.
